Sprint Rankings: Gravel Leads, But The Gap Has Closed

Twenty-six drivers have now reached the 20 starts required to be eligible to be ranked in the National Sprint Car Rankings.

David Gravel continues to lead the way, but the gap has closed.

Gravel, the World of Outlaws point leader, boasts a 3.154 average finish in 26 starts this season. Brad Sweet, who leads the High Limit Racing standings, has reached 20 starts and is second in the rankings with an average finish of 5.950.

Tyler Courtney, with 21 starts, is third with an average finish of 6.333. Logan Schuchart and Aaron Reutzel, who won Sunday’s Bob Weikert Memorial at Port Royal Speedway, round out the top five.

Anthony Macri continues to set the pace in the Eastern region. Tanner Holmes shows the way in the Western region. Carson Macedo maintained the lead in the Mid-America region.

Cap Henry remains on top in the Great Lakes region. Austin McCarl paces the Great Plains region.

Ricky Peterson tops the PA-OH region, while Trey Starks maintained the top spot in Northwestern.

Sixty-eight drivers have combined to win the 125 features run this year. Gravel leads the nation with eight victories.
