Nineteen-year-old Ryan Timms joined the company of a pair of Hall of Famers Saturday night at Knoxville Raceway.
The Oklahoma winged sprint car racer, who shocked the world when he won the Knoxville Nationals last August at the age of 18, had another feat in story for fans at the Sprint Car Capital of the World.
Driving the familiar Liebig Motorsports No. 10, Timms started on the pole for the 36th running of the Knoxville 360 Nationals at the famed half-mile Iowa race track.
Timms led all 30 laps, staving off a late challenge from Aaron Reutzel to become the second-youngest winner of the 360 Nationals and join legends Sammy Swindell and Danny Lasoski as one of only three drivers who have won both the 410 Knoxville Nationals and the 360 Knoxville Nationals, and all before his 20th birthday.
