KNOXVILLE, Iowa — Defending 360 Knoxville Nationals winner Aaron Reutzel is in the driver’s seat after the opening night of the 33rd annual event at Knoxville Raceway.
Driving the Ridge & Sons No. 8, Reutzel was the fifth quickest qualifier and won the 20-lap feature event to earn the most points on the first of two qualifying nights, racking up 483 of a possible 500 markers.
Surprising Kelby Watt ranks second in points with 472 points. Ryan Timms, Kaleb Johnson and Tanner Holmes complete the top five.
Fifty cars and drivers participated on Thursday night.
