TULSA, Okla. — Oil Capital Racing Series co-promoters Kerry Gorby and Terry Mattox have announced a $15,000 point fund for the upcoming season.
The AmeriFlex / OCRS IMCA Sprint Car champion will pocket $5.000 with the remaining $10,000 divided up between second through 10th in the final point standings.
“After a standout season in 2021, Kerry and myself are excited to boost the point fund in 2022,” said Mattox. “We will pay $5,000 to win the 2022 OCRS Championship. We feel this is in the best interest to continue the growth of the OCRS.”
The 2022 season opens with back-to-back shows on March 4-5 at Red Dirt Raceway in Meeker, Okla. and concludes on October 15 at Red Dirt Raceway.
