ATTICA, Ohio — Craig Mintz switched chassis manufacturer this season and it has paid off. Mintz led all 30 laps of the 410 sprint car feature Friday at Attica Raceway Park to secure his second victory at the track to close out the season.
Mintz watched a 1.5-second lead evaporate with nine laps to go due to a caution which put six-time Attica winner Cap Henry on his rear bumper. Mintz, from Gibsonburg, Ohio, railed the top side of the track to perfection to secure his 19th career Attica win on the Mark Keegan Classic Season Championship Night.
Henry, Jordan Ryan, Zeth Sabo and Chris Andrews rounded out the top five.
Cap Henry clinched his fifth Callie’s Performance Products 410 Sprint track championship. It’s his fourth straight track title. He also padded his lead in the All Pro Aluminum Cylinder Heads/Kistler Racing Products Attica Fremont Championship Series.
“I knew I was going to get this ‘old man’ thing in the pits if I didn’t run as hard as I could around the top. I saw the 33W lined up behind me on that restart…that was the hardest nine laps I’ve run in a long time. Chris Hartsel, my dad, my wife….everybody that’s a part of this team works so hard. We switched to Triple X this year and it’s been a mind-boggling change. We worked a lot during the off-season with ProShock and Jim Linder to change our shock program a ton and it’s really helped us a lot,” said Mintz.
Todd Brennan knew he had his work cut out for him if he was going to win the Dirt Nerds Podcast Powered by Propane UMP Late Model track championship. The Zanesville, Ohio driver took the lead in the 25-lap A-main from Eric Wilson on lap nine and held off several challenges from Ryan Missler before scoring his first ever Attica victory. Missler, Ryan Markham, Devin Shiels and Colin Shipley rounded out the top five.
Shiels fourth place finish was good enough to secure his sixth Attica championship by just one point over Brennan.
“We struggled a little bit with this new car just trying to get where we needed to be in a frustrating season. We just weren’t very good and it was so frustrating because we had been really good over the past few years. About four weeks ago we found a few things and I told my guys we’ve got a really good race car now. I’m kicking myself from the last race (Doug Drown got by him on the last corner of the last lap)…I got too conservative out there. This track is bad ass. I love it up here. This is one of the few places I haven’t won at,” said Brennan.
Even though it will show Steve Rando led all 25 laps of the Fremont Fence 305 Sprints A-main, it doesn’t show how exciting the feature was as the Lindsey, Ohio driver had to hold off multiple challenges from Paul Weaver. Rando earned his second win of 2026 and his eighth career win at Attica over Weaver, Seth Schneider, Jimmy McGrath and Brenden Torok.
Sebetto wrapped up his first ever Attica Raceway Park track title, scoring five wins at the track in 2026.
