LASALLE, Ill. — Logan Julien romped from seventh starting position to win Saturday night’s Bill Waite Jr. Memorial Classic winged sprint car race at Lasalle Speedway.
The event was co-sanctioned by the Midwest Open Wheel Ass’n and the Interstate Racing Ass’n.
Julien, driving the No. 85j sprint car, held off Ayrton Gennetten to claim top honors.
Blake Nimee, Jordan Goldesberry and Bryce Norris completed the top five.
Tyler Kuxhouse won the Auto Meter WIsconsin WingLESS Sprint Series feature.
