ALGER, Wash. — The final race for the Hill’s Meat Company 410 Sprint Cars before Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing rolls into town belonged to Trey Starks on All Phase Heating & Air Conditioning Night at Skagit Speedway.
Starks led all 30 laps of the main event for a $5,500 payday.
After a caution halted the initial start, Starks set out to the early lead in the main event and absolutely disappeared from the field.
With no further caution flags coming, Starks built and maintained a huge lead, winning the race by 6.3 seconds over runner up Tyler Thompson. Levi Kuntz completed a fantastic night for himself, taking third at the line from Justin Youngquist.
Ryan Orchard took his second Sportsman Sprint main event win of the season on Saturday night. Orchard held off Jailynn Serrano for 25 laps to take the win, with Levi Kuntz taking third in a substitute driver role for Keira Erickson.
The NW Focus Midgets ran their Salute to Ray Stebbins race on Saturday night with Shane Smith taking the victory after leading all 25 laps. Alex Peck made things interesting late but settled for second and Jonathan Jorgenson was third.
