Another One For Trey Starks At Skagit

ALGER, Wash. — The reign of dominance continued on Birch Equipment Night at Skagit Speedway for Trey Starks in the Exclusive Quality Customs 360 division as the Puyallup, Wahs., driver won for the 26th time since 2018 on Saturday night.

Starks started in row two of the Exclusive Quality Customs 360 feature and quickly worked his way forward in the opening laps.

Using the top groove, he’d take the lead from Robbie Price on lap five and roll on to the easy win, ahead of Colton Heath who came from seventh to take second and Price who ended up third.

Ben Gunderson ran to his first career feature win in The Skagit Casino Resort IMCA Modifieds. A former Hornet division champion, Gunderson would lead every lap, turning away a late challenge from runner up Cole Logan and Rory Smith for his first win in the class.

Steve Peters ended up on top of the podium in the Hornet division. Peters led the first two laps before a yellow came out and on the ensuing restart, accidentally flipped the cars on/off switch as the field came to green. Dropping back about 4 spots, Peters worked his way back forward to retake the lead and the win. Willam Zottneck came out on top of a wild battle for second and Bryce Kolar also fought his way forward to take third.
