KNOXVILLE, Iowa — Seven Xtream powered by Mediacom 360 Knoxville Nationals winners are among the 60 entries for Friday night’s second preliminary event for the 36th annual event at Knoxville Raceway.
Defending winner Rico Abreu, who is a multi-time feature winner at the half-mile track this season in the 410 division, will drive the No. 24 Tony Stewart Racing entry in an effort to win the race for a second consecutive season.
Many-time Knoxville track champion Terry McCarl has won the 360 Nationals on five occasions, most recently in 2018. He’ll wheel his own No. 24 machine.
Two-time winner Brian Brown, who won last week’s 360 feature at the Sprint Car Capital of the World, will wheel his familiar No. 21 machine.
Tyler Courtney, who won the race in 2024, Clint Garner (2017), Sammy Swindell (2016) and Kerry Madsen (2020) are also former winners of the race.
Reigning 410 Knoxville Nationals champion Ryan Timms, who has been a frequent winner at Knoxville this season, is also in Friday’s field aboard the familiar Liebig Motorsports No. 10.
Two-time Kings Royal winner Anthony Macri is entered in the familiar Macri Motorsports No. 39m.
American Sprint Car Series regulars Sam Hafertepe Jr., Blake Hahn and Matt Covington will be in action.
Other expected contenders in Friday’s lineup include Kasey Kahne, Brady Bacon, Parker Price-Miller, Ashton Torgerson and local ace Tasker Phillips.
Thursday and Friday night features will pay $3,000 to win, while Saturday night’s main event offers $20,000 to win, with the possibility of adding another $15,000 in lap money.
