BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Mitchel Moles claimed Saturday night’s USAC Western States Midget Series event at Bakersfield Speedway.
The event was co-sanctioned by the Bay Cities Racing Ass’n.
Moles was the fast qualifier for the 20-car field and took the lead on lap 23, passing Travis Buckley for the lead.
Moles led the remainder of the 30-lap event, with Matt Mitchell finishing second.
Point leader A.J. Bender, Robby Josett and Michael Faccinto rounded out the top five.
