FLORENCE, Ky. — Brad Sweet got back on the winning track Friday night at Florence Speedway.
Sweet started on the pole and raced to his third Kubota High Limit Racing triumph of the season as the series returned to action after a lengthy mid-summer break.
Sweet also regained the series point lead, leaving the event with a three-point margin over Aaron Reutzel, who finished fourth on Friday night.
Tyler Courtney drove his Clauson Marshall Racing entry to a runner-up finish, while Rico Abreu finished third.
Daison Pursley was fifth.
Abreu was the fast qualifier for the 30-car field with a lap of 13.532 seconds.
