WAYNESFIELD, Ohio — Veteran Randy Hannagan and Dallas Hewitt each won sprint car features on opening night at Waynesfield Raceway Park Saturday.
Hannagan topped the winged sprint car feature that was co-sanctioned by the Great Lakes Super Sprints and the NRA, while Hewitt won the Great Lakes Traditional Sprints non-winged sprint car event.
Hannagan started sixth in the 25-lap main event and beat eighth-starter Nate Dussel to the checkered flag, with Brad Lamberson, Phil Gressman and Ryan Turner rounding out the top five.
Hewitt, meanwhile, won from the pole in the 30-lap non-winged event.
Korbyn Hayslett, Ricky Lewis, Keith Sheffer Jr. and Isaac Chapple filled the top five.
