Diamond Shines In East Bay Sprint

GIBSONTON, Fla. — The 47th annual Winternationals at East Bay Raceway Park kicked off Thursday night with 77 cars competing in five divisions.

The Top Gun Sprint Car Series took center stage with Steve Diamond Jr. working lapped traffic to perfection in winning a non-stop 25-lap feature on the third-mile dirt track.

Tyler Clem came home second, with Garrett Green, Justin Webster and Luke Hill rounding out the top five.

Nick Brown topped the V-8 Warriors feature, while Troy Dittebrand won the gladiator feature.

Bryce Comer claimed the mini sprint run and Will Karas came home the winner in the micro sprint class.
