Colagiovanni Tops Canadian Nationals

OHSWEKEN, Ontario — Paulie Colagiovanni turned in a dominant performance to win Monday night’s 17th annual Canadian Sprint Car Nationals at Ohsweken Speedway.

The New York sprint car ace started on the pole and held off a late-charge from NASCAR Camping World Truck Series ace Stewart Friesen to win the 35-lap event.

Friesen finished second, with Cody Turner, Jordan Thomas and Mitch Brown rounding out the top five.

Mike Bowman won the crate sprint car feature.
