SEBRING, Fla. — Nitro Motorsports is set to ignite the 2026 Trans Am Series Presented by Pirelli with an impressive driver roster, bringing a blend of proven winners, rising stars, and fresh talent to the iconic Sebring International Raceway this weekend.
Fresh off success last season from the grassroots of karting to the ARCA Menards Series, Nitro Motorsports is looking to ride the wave of momentum into Sebring.
The team’s dynamic lineup features twin brothers Ethan and Jackson Tovo, Trans Am race winner Sam Corry, 2025 podium finisher Gian Buffomante, team newcomer Vinnie Meskelis, perennial front runner Seamus McKendree, and TA2 Pro/Am challenger and podium winner Cale Phillips.
Each driver brings a unique edge and competitive spirit, positioning Nitro Motorsports, the 2023 and 2024 TA2 championship-winning program, as a major threat in the upcoming championship.
“We’re thrilled to kick off our 2026 Trans Am campaign with such a talented and diverse lineup,” expressed team co-owner Nick Tucker. “Our drivers are hungry, experienced, and ready to showcase the Nitro Motorsports commitment to excellence. After our strong ARCA Menards Series start and recent SKUSA Winter Series victories, we’re carrying momentum from Daytona to Sebring and beyond.”
Kicking off the 2026 Trans Am Series Presented by Pirelli at Sebring, Nitro Motorsports and their drivers will compete at Road Atlanta, Sonoma Raceway, Lime Rock Park, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Road America, Watkins Glen, the Canadian Tire Motorsports Park, and VIR before concluding the season at the famed Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.
Nitro Motorsports Partner Joe Tovo added, “While my boys are racing, the Nitro Motorsports Trans Am effort is about the team. We want to make sure we are competing week in and week out, battling at the front, standing on the podium, and providing all of our drivers with the opportunity to climb the motorsports ladder.”
