Wet Ground Halts Waynesfield Go

WAYNESFIELD, Ohio – Wet grounds and a forecast of more rain and colder temperatures have forced Waynesfield Raceway Park to cancel the races scheduled for April 2.

“We tried to get on the track all week and the water just made it impossible. We didn’t get sufficient drying opportunities the past couple of weeks to help us. We are hoping to have the USAC D2 Midgets and the UMP modifieds join us on May 1 when the All Stars (Circuit of Champions) are here,” said Waynesfield Promoter Shane Helms.

“The Field” will return to action on May 1 with the Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions followed by the MPD Racing Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series non-wing sprint cars along with winged 410 sprints, 360 sprints and the USAC D2 Thunder Midgets on May 29.
