Wet Conditions Stop Tri-City Raceway Park

FRANKLIN, Pa. — Excessive rainfall on Saturday left Tri-City Raceway Park too wet and soggy to be worked into shape for Sunday’s racing slate.

“The track was like a swamp,” said owner Merle Black. “We will keep our fingers crossed for some sunny days to dry things out during the week so we can go racing next week.”

A four division program is set for August 20. There will be extra money on the line for the Diehl Chevrolet 410 Sprint Cars and the 4 Your Car Connection Four Cylinder Mini Stocks. The Pitt Stop Pub 358 Modifieds will be in action also.

The Hovis Auto & Truck Supply Pro Stocks will provide support.
