FONDA, N.Y. — Danny Varin and Brian Gleason shared the glory Saturday night at Fonda Speedway.
Varin took the lead from Matt Tanner on the third lap and led the remainder of the 30-lap Patriot Sprint Tour feature, beating Tanner and Paulie Colagiovanni to the checkered flag.
Davie Franek and Dalton Rombough rounded out the top five.
Gleason, meanwhile, drove to his first career victory in the Sunoco Modified headliner. Gleason led the final six laps, showing Ronnie Johnson and Varin, who did double duty, the way to the checkered flag.
Chad Edwards won the crate sportsman feature and Jason Morrison topped the pro stock main event. Bob Rowback was best in the limited sportsman run.
