FONDA, N.Y. — Danny Varin and Stewart Friesen were the big winners Saturday night at Fonda Speedway.
Varin topped the 25-lap Empire Super Sprints feature to claim his sixth consecutive ESS triumph at the half-mile dirt track.
Dylan Swiernik finished second, with Shawn Donath, Matt Tanner and Paulie Colagiovanni rounding out the top five.
Friesen prevailed in the 30-lap modified main event to pick up his sixth victory of the season at Fonda and the 85th of his career.
Demetrious Drellos finished second, with Chris Curtis, JaMike Sowle and Ryan Odasz following.
Other winners were Brett Mortensen (crate sportsman), Ivan Joslin (pro stock) and Zach Dufel (limited sportsman).
