CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — Matt Sheppard charged through the field to get his first victory of the season at Land of Legends Raceway on Saturday night.
Sheppard ran down Peter Britten and went on to claim the $2,000 prize in the big-block modified 30-lap run.
Britten held on to finish second, with Mat Williamson, Erick Rudolph and Daniel Johnson Jr. completing the top five.
Matt Guererri topped the sportsman modified feature and Johnny Kolosek claimed the 305 sprint car main event. Jimmy Grant bested the street stock field.
Marc Minutolo was the hobby stock winner and Chase Spoor came home first in the legends sportsman race.
