Sheppard Keeps Rolling At Canandaigua

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — Matt Sheppard is on a roll.

After winning for the third straight week Friday at Utica-Rome Speedway, Sheppard claimed his second victory of the season at Land of Legends Raceway on Saturday.

Sheppard won the 30-lap main event ahead of Tim Fuller and earned $2,000 for the victory.

Alex Payne finished third, with Erick Rudolph and Peter Britten.

Matt Guererri topped Dalton Martin to win the sportsman modified feature.

Bobby Parrow claimed his first triumph of the season in the 305 sprint car headliner and Carl Johnson won the street stock main event.

Other winners were Justin Eldredge (hobby stock) and Kasey Coffey (Legends sportsman).
