Sears Wins From 11th At Brewerton

BREWERTON, N.Y. — Tim Sears Jr. ripped through the field to win Friday night’s DIRTcar big-block modified feature at Brewerton Speedway.

Sears started the 35-lap event on the quarter-mile dirt track from 11th starting position and romped to the front, holding off Chris Hile, who started 14th.

Tom Sears Jr. finished third, with Larry Wight and Chad Phelps rounding out the top five.

Alan Fink led Richard Townsend Jr. to the checkered flag to win the 35-lap sportsman feature.

Justin Williams topped the mod lite feature and Damien Bechler won the four-cylinder super stock main event.
