Peltier Sets The Pace At Chilly Willy

TUCSON, Ariz. — Preston Peltier was the fast qualifier for Sunday’s Chilly Willy super late model event at Tucson Speedway.

Peltier turned a lap of 15.155 seconds to edge Sean Hingorani for the top spot in the 150-lap, $10,000-to-win event. Both drivers were locked into Sunday’s finale.

A pair of 50-lap qualifying races were also run, with Kole Raz claiming the opener and Hingorani topping the nightcap after passing Jimmy Parker on the 17th lap.

Jaron Giannini beat Weston Marthaler to the checkered flag by 1.331 seconds to win the 75-lap modified feature.

Other winners were Jake Bollman (Legend car Pro/Masters) and Bryceton Meyer (Legend car Semi-Pro/Young Lion).
