Laney Rules Mohave Valley New Years Bash

MOHAVE VALLEY, Ariz. – Cody Laney raced to victory in IMCA modified action on night two of the New Years Bash at Mohave Valley Raceway Saturday.

Laney started second and held off Friday’s winner, Matt Aukland, to pick up the victory in the 25-lap feature. 

Trevor Fitz was third, followed by Adam Hommerding and Kyle Morris.

Ryan Perry won the IMCA Northern sportmod feature from the fourth starting position, denying runner-up Mark Martini. 

Ken McWilliams was a winner in IMCA sport compact competition while Larry Brigner won the IMCA stock car main event from the pole.
