Hile Ends Sears’ Brewerton Streak

BREWERTON, N.Y. — Chris Hile ended Tim Sears Jr.’s lengthy winning streak at Brewerton Speedway on Friday night.

Hile raced from 13th on the grid to win the 35-lap big-block modified headliner on the quarter-mile track.

Dylan Zacharias finished second, with Max McLaughlin, Jimmy Phelps and Ronnie Davis filling the top five. Sears finished 10th.

Brandon Carvey charged from 15th to win the 25-lap sportsman feature.

Mike Mullen won the mod lite main event and Damien Bechler topped the four-cylinder race.
