Friesen Gets Another One At Fonda

FONDA, N.Y. — Stewart Friesen continued his winning ways Saturday night at Fonda Speedway, romping from 10th on the grid to win the 30-lap modified feature.

Friesen drove his No. 44 to victory ahead of seventh-starter Rocky Warner, with Alex Yankowski, Jessica Friesen and Tucker O’Connor rounding out the top five.

Danny Varin picked up his second Empire Super Sprints victory in as many nights, racing from fourth starting spot to victory.

Billy VanInwegen Jr. finished second, with Jordan Thomas, Davie Franek and Matt Tanner following.

Tyler Peet charged from 10th to win the 25-lap crate 602 sportsman main event.

Luke Horning won the pro stock feature and Bobby Rhinehardt claimed the limited sportsman main event. Ken Hollenbeck bested the four-cylinder field.
