LAFARGEVILLE, N.Y. — With heavy rain and snow over the past few days leading to unfavorable track conditions at Can-Am Speedway, and weather models showing more rain and cold temperatures throughout the week, Super DIRTcar Series, DIRTcar Northeast, and track officials have canceled the Super DIRTcar Series portion of Thunder in the Thousand Islands weekend, and postponed the DIRTcar 358 Modified and DIRTcar Sportsman Series events.
The Super DIRTcar Series portion of the event will not be made up.
The DIRTcar 358 Modified Series will now race at Can-Am on Wednesday, July 1, as part of the track’s Pabst Shootout. The DIRTcar Sportsman Series North Region event moves to the track’s season opener on Friday, April 24.
