Friesen Doubles Down At Fonda

FONDA, N.Y. — Stewart Friesen won a pair of 30-lap modified features Saturday night at Fonda Speedway.

The NASCAR Truck Series regular ripped from eighth starting position to win the opening event, ahead of Michael Maresca, with Ronnie Johnson, Bobby Hackel IV and Jack Lehner following.

In the nightcap, Friesen started second and again held off Maresca, who raced from eighth starting position to finish second.

Rocky Warner, Jessica Friesen and Lehner completed the top five.

Payton Talbot won the crate sportsman feature, while Ken Gates and Ivan Joslin topped pro stock main events.

A.J. Greco was best in the limited sportsman class and Hayleigh Gates aced the four-cyliner run.
