Corliss Gets Another One At Thunder Road

BARRE, Vt. — The Maplefields/Irving Late Models rounded out the Thursday night program at Thunder Road Int’l Speedway with the Vermont Tire & Service 100 in Round #2 of the Squier Cup Triple Crown presented by Milton CAT.

The event ran green-to-checkers without a single caution in less than 22 minutes. Jason Corliss took over the lead by lap ten and set sail out front leaving only Brandon Gray, Marcel Gravel and Kaiden Fisher to follow the crumbs.

Gravel held tough throughout the first half as the pair battled through lapped traffic, but Fisher came through with a full head of steam. In the end, Jason Corliss dominated the 100-lap run with Brandon Gray taking second and Kaiden Fisher coming home third.

Logan Powers won the Flying Tiger feature and Nate Bryan topped the street stock race.
