WEST LEBANON, N.Y. — Alex Yankowski continued his recent hot streak with a victory in Thursday night’s Short Track Super Series modified event at Lebanon Valley Speedway.
Yankowski made a late pass of Matt Sheppard to take the lead and held off a charge from Marc Johnson to take his third checkered flag in the past two weeks.
“We were pretty uneasy going into the feature,” Yankowski said. “But I guess we made the right decisions. What a wild couple of weeks.”
Johnson finished second, with Sheppard, Anthony Perrego and Alex Payne completing the top five.
Tim Hartman Jr. won the sportsman feature.
