GEORGETOWN, Del. — The Super DIRTcar Series will take a new route on its road to World Finals with an added stop at Georgetown Speedway in November.
The series makes its return to Georgetown on Saturday, Nov. 1, for the rescheduled Delaware Diamond 75. It’ll be the Super DIRTcar Series’ first time back at the half-mile since 2008.
To celebrate the return, more than $3,000 was added to the purse, making it the highest-paying modified event in the Mid-Atlantic region this year.
Drivers will compete for a $12,075 payday, along with impressive payouts throughout the field such as $6,000 for second, $3,000 for third, $2,000 for fourth, and even $1,000 for 10th. Full payout and additional bonuses will be announced leading up to the event.
Along with being the final stop of the tour before the championship finale in Charlotte (Nov. 5-8), the Delaware Diamond 75 brings the series to eight straight events paying $10,000 or more at the end of the season.
It also serves as the grand finale to the track’s two-day Mid-Atlantic Championship Weekend.
