GRANBY, Quebec — Matt Sheppard got the best of the competition on night one of the Lumberjack Swing for the Short Track Super Series.
Starting second, Sheppard powered his No. 9s modified to the point early and finished off the 60-lap main event, beating Stewart Friesen to the checkered flag.
Felix Roy, Samuel Charland and Chris Raabe completed the top five.
