Modifieds To Join Late Models At Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, Del. — The Super DIRTcar Series is joining the World of Outlaws Late Model Series presented by DIRTVision for a new powerhouse event at Georgetown Speedway on Wednesday, May 13.

Pairing two massive series races in one night, the event, now known as the Delaware Diamond Clash, will host the Millman’s Napa Auto Parts Delaware Diamond with the Super DIRTcar Series and the Visit Delaware 51 with the World of Outlaws.

This rare occurrence is the only time the Beasts of the Northeast and the Most Powerful Late Models on the Planet will race on the same card outside of Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals and the World of Outlaws World Finals.

When the Super DIRTcar Series last visited Georgetown, Alex Payne held off Tim Sears Jr. in a wild battle for the checkered flag. Both drivers will battle a stout field that includes defending Series champion and current points leader Mat Williamson and Georgetown points leader Billy Pauch Jr., who won on the track’s opening night earlier this month.
