It’s Baca On Night Three At Central Arizona Oval

CASA GRANDE, Ariz. — Chaz Baca controlled the modified main from start to finish Friday night at the Pitt Motorsports IMCATV Western Nationals.

Baca earned a front row starting spot after racing from seventh starting spot in his heat race to a second-place finish.

Brandon Beckendorf was right behind Baca on the several restarts but each time Baca regained his lead and Beckendorf settled for second while Jeremy Mills finished third.

The stock car main was a flag-to-flag run for Chelsea, Iowa driver Dallon Murty. Jason Rogers put plenty of pressure on Murty but finished second and Braxton Yeager took third.

Northern sport mod action was another win for Robbie Thome over Chad Dolan and Gabriel Deschamp.  Thome started third and raced past early leader Dustin White for his second win of the week.

A Dillion again won the hobby stock main but it was Dillon Thompson this time and Dillon Richards was second and Cody Williams finished third as Nebraska drivers continue to control the division.

Gilbert Aldape claimed the sport compact win over Chris Boulware Jr and Kaytee DeVries.

The Pitt Motorsports IMCATV Western Nationals drew 235 cars in the five IMCA divisions on the third of eight nights at Central Arizona Raceway.
