Rain Creates Pennsboro Doubleheader

PENNSBORO, W. Va. — Rain swept in prior to the feature event and created a Saturday afternoon doubleheader for the XR Super Series late models at legendary Pennsboro Speedway.

The 25-lap, $10,000-to-win feature will begin at 6 p.m., followed by a complete program for the $30,000-to-win Mason-Dixon 100.

Devin Moran was the fast qualifier for the 27-car field with a lap of 19.774 seconds. Moran, Friday night winner Bobby Pierce and Nick Hoffman won the heat races.

Jesse Wisecarver captured the modified feature that was completed just before the rain arrived.
