RURAL RETREAT, Va. — Brandon Overton used a last-lap pass to win Friday night’s Schaeffer’s Spring Nationals late model feature at Wythe Raceway.
Overton edged ahead of race-long leader Jonathan Davenport exiting the fourth turn and raced to the $10,053 triumph, which was his seventh of the season.
Fourth-starting Overton finished a mere .337 seconds ahead of Davenport, who started outside the front row.
Chris Ferguson, Ross Bailes and Dale McDowell rounded out the top five.
