GAFFNEY, S.C. — Chris Madden banked $20,053 for winning the rain-shortened Ginger Owens March Madness dirt late model feature at Cherokee Speedway Saturday night.
The event was sanctioned by the Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series.
Madden started on the pole and led all 41 laps of the race that was scheduled to go 60 circuits before a thunderstorm intervened.
Zack Mitchell finished second, with Tucker Anderson, Brandon Overton and Ben Watkins completing the top five.
