SWEETWATER, Tenn. — Cory Hedgecock won Tuesday night’s Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Series dirt late model feature at I-75 Raceway.
Starting fourth, Hedgecock took the lead from Chris Madden, who won Monday night’s race, on lap seven.
He led the remainder of the 40-lap event to earn the $7,553 top prize.
Madden finished second, with polesitter Garrett Smith taking third.
Veterans Dale McDowell and Jimmy Owens completed the top five.
Madden was the fast qualifier for the 31-car field with a lap of 14.829 seconds.
