MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa — Justin Kay passed Dave Eckrich in the final corner to steal Friday night’s DeFrance Memorial for the Malvern Bank East Series late models at Marshalltown Speedway.
Kay started third and stalked Eckrich throughout the event en route to his second triumph of the season and a $4,544 payday.
Eckrich finished second, with Andy Eckrich third.
J.C. Wyman and Chad Holladay completed the top five.
