DAVENPORT, Iowa — Tyler Erb led flag to flag to win Monday’s XR Super Series late model main event at Davenport Speedway.
Erb held off a late charge from Hudson O’Neal to bank the $15,000 victory. It was the 15th win of the season for the DIRTcar Summer Nationals champion.
O’Neal finished second, with Bobby Pierce, Nick Hoffman and Cody Overton completing the top five.
Mike Marlar was the fast qualifier for the 35-car field with a lap of 13.772 seconds.
Night two of the Davenport Deal is on Tuesday.
