NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Officials with Champion Racing Association have released next year’s schedule for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance.
The schedule features a total of 12 points-paying dates plus four non-points specials at 13 different tracks in six states while still focusing the heart of the championship season in the Great Lakes region. In addition to staple events for the tour, new tracks and new events highlight the schedule.
The season unofficially kicks off on Saturday, Jan. 18 at Cordelle Speedway in Georgia for the annual Speedfest 100. Held alongside the ASA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS and the ASA Southern Super Series Powered by Sunoco, the JEGS Tour will sanction the 100 lap Pro Late Model contest that weekend. In 2024, Stephen Nasse took an over two-second win ahead of Ross Chastain and George Phillips.
Then, the battle for a prestigious JEGS Tour Championship begins on Saturday, April 19 at Toledo Speedway. The JEGS Tour will race for 100 laps in just the third-ever appearance at the famed half-mile in northern Ohio. Last season, Cody Coughlin bested the field of 23 cars holding off Kyle Steckly and Blake Rowe for the win. In addition to the JEGS Tour, the April 19 headliner will also feature the Hemelgarn/Superfitness USAC Silver Crown Rollie Beale Classic.
From the wide, high-banked half-mile of Toledo, to racing fighter jets in a gymnasium on Saturday, May 10. The JEGS Tour returns to Anderson Speedway for the only stop at the home of the Redbud 400. Coughlin grabbed his first win of the season in this event in 2024 holding off eventual champion, Rowe for the win.
It’s up to Owosso Speedway in Ovid, Mich. for Memorial Day on Monday, May 26 for the return of the $10,000 to win Big O Classic. JEGS Tour Rookie of the Year, Chase Pinsonneault got his first career win in the United States during the Big O Classic in 2024. Fellow Canadian, Kyle Steckley finished second ahead of Evan Shotko.
Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway welcomes the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour on Thursday, May 29 for the second non-points special of the season. The $10,000 to win Battle of Broadway was the home of Trey Craig’s second career win with the JEGS Tour in 2024.
On Saturday, June 21, the JEGS Tour goes head-to-head with the ASA/CRA Super Series during the 125 lapper at Flat Rock Speedway. The Metro Detroit bullring underwent a resurfacing project this fall, welcoming the JEGS Tour to a new surface for the first time in history. Chase Burda was the class of the field in 2024 at Flat Rock Speedway.
Race fans can celebrate our Nation’s Independence with the teams of the JEGS Tour on Saturday, July 5 during the 4th Up North 104 at Whittemore Speedway. After 104 laps of can’t-miss racing action, fans will be treated to a massive fireworks show in Whittemore, MI. Steven Ulman set the fans ablaze with his performance en route to his first career win with the JEGS Tour in 2024.
The second half of the season races toward a championship with the most anticipated and richest Pro Late Model event in the country, the $25,000 to win Masters of the Pros 200. Returning to Owosso Speedway for the third season, the winner of the Masters will earn a coveted green jacket and cash the biggest check in JEGS Tour history on Wednesday, July 16.
On Friday, August 8th the JEGS Tour unloads at Corrigan Oil Speedway in Mason, Mich. The Spartan 100 put drivers on the edge of their seats and took them to the end of their patience level in 2024, giving fans an absolute treat of a race. Brandon Varney held off Steve Dorer and Pinsonneault for his first career win with the JEGS Tour last season.
The JEGS Tour will make their second-ever trip to Jennerstown, Pa. on Saturday, Aug. 23 for a non-points special event the Motor Mountain Masters. In 2020, the JEGS Tour made the jaunt over to Jennerstown Speedway for the American Freedom 100. Cody Coughlin grabbed the win ahead of Josh Brock and Matt Craig.
Kalamazoo Speedway in Kalamazoo, Mich., makes a JEGS Tour schedule debut on Saturday, Aug. 30 for the Klash of the Pros. A special big-money showdown brings in the Pro Late Models alongside the annual Raber’s Rumble Street Stock show, giving fans another valuable ticket.
On Saturday, Sept. 6, the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour returns to Clio, Mich. and Auto City Speedway for the first time in seven seasons. Just six previous events have been held at Auto City for the JEGS Tour; 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Rookie of the Year, Carson Hocevar won the most recent event in 2018. Other winners include Kyle Hayden (2017), Dalton Armstrong (2015), Eric Lee (2014). Robbie Johnson (2013) and Daniel Hemric (2012).
The third and final stop of the season at Owosso Speedway takes place Sept. 20-21 for the Owosso Nationals. Saturday, the New Stars Showdown is back giving drivers a chance to collect their first-ever win with the JEGS Tour. Then, the Owosso Nationals 150 is Sunday afternoon for $15,000 to win.
The championship campaign wraps up on Friday, October 10th during the 54th Winchester 400 weekend at Winchester Speedway in Winchester, Ind. Then, the season comes to a close with the final non-points special of the year, the All American 100 as part of the All American 400 weekend at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
