Cole Custer On Xfinity Pole At New Hampshire

LOUDON, N.H. — Stewart-Haas Racing’s Cole Custer will start on the pole for Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway after qualifying was rained out. The starting lineup was set based on the qualifying metric.

Chandler Smith will start second with Sam Mayer, last week’s winner at Iowa Speedway, starting third. Riley Herbst and Sheldon Creed round out the top five.

Christopher Bell, who’s three-for-three in Xfinity races at New Hampshire, will start 23rd for Joe Gibbs Racing. Alex Bowman will start 37th in a one-off for Hendrick Motorsports.

Jade Buford did not make the show in a Mike Harmon Racing entry.
