Rest Of Truck Series Race Postponed To Sunday, Cup Heat Races Canceled

The remainder of Saturday’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at North Wilkesboro (N.C.) Speedway has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The remainder of the event will be completed on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. Eastern Time.

With rain and lightning continuing the last few hours at the track, Cup Series heat races have also been canceled. Joey Logano will start on pole for the All-Star Race. The All-Star Open is set to run at 5:30 p.m. Eastern Time.

81 of 250 laps have been completed in the Wright Brand 250 with ThorSport Racing’s Ty Majeski leading. Rajah Caruth, Corey Heim, Christian Eckes and Tanner Gray complete the top five.

Majeski won Stage One ahead of teammate Ben Rhodes on the 0.625-mile oval.
