New Hampshire Truck Pole Goes To Riggs

LOUDON, N.H. — Layne Riggs won the pole for Saturday’s Team EJP 175 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway during qualifying on Friday afternoon.

Driving the No. 34 Front Row Motorsports Ford, Riggs turned a lap of 29.346 seconds (129.789 mph) on the one-mile race track to earn his fourth pole of the season and the eighth of his career.

Toyota driver Kaden Honeycutt qualified second, .223 seconds behind Riggs.

Giovanni Ruggiero, a teammate to Honeycutt, claimed the third position.

Spire Motorsports Chevrolet drivers Connor Zilisch and Tristan McKee completed the top five.
