Majeski Wins Pole For Kansas Trucks Playoff Race

Ty Majeski won the pole for Friday night’s CRAFTSMAN Truck Series playoff race at Kansas Speedway. He turned a time of 30.853 seconds (175.023 mph) around the 1.5-mile oval, besting Connor Mosack for the top spot.

Christian Eckes, Ben Rhodes and Dawson Sutton — competing for Rackley WAR in the final five races — round out the top five. Kaden Honeycutt, Nick Sanchez, Stewart Friesen, Jake Garcia and Daniel Dye complete the top 10.

Tyler Ankrum (14th), Rajah Caruth (16th), Taylor Gray (17th) and Grant Enfinger (19th) make up the rest of the playoff drivers that turned a time. Corey Heim went to the garage during practice and wasn’t allowed to qualify, meaning he’ll start from the rear.

Dye (-7) and Rhodes (-12) enter Friday’s elimination race below the cutline. Rhodes is the defending series champion.

The race is set for 8:30 p.m. ET on FS1.
