Kligerman To Wheel Ram At Texas

WELCOME, N.C. — Veteran racer and broadcaster Parker Kligerman will drive Kaulig Racing’s No. 25 Ram 1500 in the May 1 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Texas Motor Speedway near Fort Worth as part of the Ram Free Agent program.

Kligerman brings extensive experience to the ride and will give fans insight into Kaulig Racing’s expanding truck program in its first full season with Ram.

“Getting back behind the wheel of a truck with Kaulig Racing and Ram through the Free Agent program is a full-circle moment for me,” Kligerman said. “I actually made my very first NASCAR Truck Series start in a Ram at Texas back in 2010, so returning here as part of the Ram factory team 16 years later is incredibly special.

“It’s an absolute honor to pilot the No. 25 and join drivers such as Tony Stewart in this initiative. I’m excited to go fast, have fun and hopefully post a strong run.”

Kligerman works as a color commentator for NASCAR on The CW and as studio talent for NASCAR on TNT Sports. He also co-hosts the motorsports podcast “The Money Lap” with Landon Cassill and previously co-hosted the automotive television series “Proving Grounds”.

Kligerman has built a strong racing résumé since 2013. He has competed in all three of NASCAR’s national series and recorded multiple top-five and top-10 finishes.

He began his career in Penske Racing’s driver development program and made his ARCA debut in 2008. As a rookie in 2009, he won nine races and finished second in the championship for Cunningham Motorsports.

Kligerman moved to the Truck Series and earned three wins, including victories at Talladega in 2012 and 2017 and a dominant win at Mid-Ohio in 2022, when he led 56 of 67 laps. He owns three Truck Series wins and 53 top-10 finishes in 125 starts.

In the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, he achieved a career-best ninth-place points finish in 2013, made the playoffs in 2023 and 2024, and earned a relief-driver victory at Daytona in 2025.

The Truck Series has raced at Texas Motor Speedway since 1997 — more than at any other track in series history. Kligerman knows the 1.5-mile track well. He’s made 12 career starts across the Cup, O’Reilly Auto Parts and Truck Series.

The No. 25 Ram 1500 serves as the dedicated entry for Ram’s Free Agent Driver Program, which places a different driver in the seat each weekend. Ram launched the program as part of its return to the Truck Series in 2026 after a 13-year absence. The initiative features veteran stars, rising talents, road racers and other available drivers.

NASCAR Hall of Famer Tony Stewart opened the program by driving the No. 25 at Daytona. Later participants included Ty Dillon, Colin Braun, Corey LaJoie and Carson Ferguson.
