Garcia Speeds To Kansas Truck Series Pole

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Jake Garcia won the pole for Saturday night’s Heart of Health Care 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Kansas Speedway.

Garcia drove his ThorSport Ford to a lap of 30.743 seconds at 175.655 mph to earn his second pole in 59 races in the series and his second of the season.

Point leader Corey Heim will start second in the TRICON Toyota No. 11.

Garcia’s ThorSport teammate, reigning Truck Series champion Ty Majeski qualified third. Another ThorSport driver, Ben Rhodes, starts fifth.

Spire Motorsports trucks will start fourth and sixth, respectively, with Carson Hocevar and Rajah Caruth at the wheel.
