ROCKINGHAM, N.C. — Tristan McKee (No. 77 Campers Inn RV Chevrolet) started from the Sioux Chief PowerPEX Pole and led all 125 laps in Saturday’s ARCA Menards East Rockingham 125 at Rockingham Speedway.
It was McKee’s second victory in his second career East start; he also won last Saturday night in the season opener at Hickory Motor Speedway.
• Carson Brown (No. 28 Distributor Wire and Cable Chevrolet) finished second in his first ARCA Menards East start of the season. It’s the second top-five finish of the season for the Pinnacle Racing Group No. 28 team; Derek Kneeland finished fourth for the team last week at Hickory.
• Reigning ARCA Menards East champion Isaac Kitzmiller (No. 79 A.L.L. Construction Chevrolet) matched his best career finish in third; he also finished third last week at Hickory.
• Garrett Mitchell (No. 30 Kenetik Ford, known to his fans on YouTube as Cleetus McFarland, scored an ARCA platform career-best fourth-place finish.
• Wesley Slimp (No. 70 Road Ready Foundation Toyota) finished a career-best fifth despite the roof hatch blowing off of his car just prior to the race’s midway break. Slimp’s team made quick repairs and was able to keep him on the leap lap.
• Jackson McLerran (No. 95 Sunset Park TV / JSJ Construction Toyota) finished sixth, matching his career best set at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway in 2025.
• Cory Roper (No. 17 Drydene / Preferred Industrial Contractors Chevrolet) finished seventh in his first touring series start in nearly two years; it was his first ever appearance in the ARCA Menards East.
• Max Reaves (No. 18 Cook Out Toyota) recovered from an unscheduled pit stop under green due to a flat tire to finish eighth; Reaves lost four laps to the lead lap cars but was able to regain two of them to finish two laps off the pace.
• George Siciliano (No. 0 Heat Wave Visuals Ford) scored his first career top ten finish in ninth; he spun in turn one on lap 81 to bring out the fourth caution flag of the day but was able to continue after not making any contact.
• Craig Pellegrini (No. 10 Let’s Be Frank Toyota) scored his second straight top ten finish; he finished ninth last week at Hickory.
• Connor Hall (No. 24 Sigma Performance Services Chevrolet) was knocked out of a potential top-five finish when he and Michael Maples (No. 99 MMS Chevrolet) made contact on the backstretch with 15 laps to go.
• Gavan Boeschele (No. 25 Nitro Motorsports Toyota) also saw a potential top-five run go awry when he crashed to bring out the first caution of the race at lap 45. Boeshele was running in third at the time of the accident.
• There were five cautions for a total of 28 laps. The winner’s average speed was 94.063 miles per hour; the margin of victory was 1.446 seconds.
