Norris & McLaren Lead British GP Practice

SILVERSTONE, United Kingdom — McLaren continued to show improved speed during Friday’s two practice sessions Sunday’s British Grand Prix at the Silverstone circuit.

Teammates Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri ended the day at the top of the speed charts with Norris turning a best lap of one minute and 27.831 seconds during the second session of the day.

 

Red Bull driver Sergio Perez was third, with Nico Hulkenberg fourth for Haas F1. Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc was fifth.

Lewis Hamilton was sixth for Mercedes, with three-time world champion and point leader Max Verstappen seventh in the second Red Bull entry.
