MotoGP Opener Goes To Bagnaia

MotoGP’s season kicked off in Qatar for the Qatar Grand Prix as Francesco Bagnaia scored the victory on Sunday.

After polesitter Jorge Martin jumped out to the early lead, Bagnaia vaulted from fifth to second on the first lap. Shortly after, the defending champion snatched the lead away.

With Bagnaia out front, Martin had his hands full with Brad Binder joining the fray in third.

Binder would get around Martin, however he’d run out of time in the end as Bagnaia surged to his 19th career MotoGP victory. Binder placed runner-up, followed by Martin.

Trackhouse Racing’s first start in MotoGP led to a mixed bag of results. Rider Raul Fernandez enudred a mechanical issue before the start, while Miguel Oliveira scored a point in 15th.
